The Association of Abductees’ Mothers is a Yemeni human rights organisation comprised of mothers, wives, and daughters of the abductees, as well as activists working in the field of rights and freedoms. Established on April 18, 2016, with the endorsement of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, the association is dedicated to defending the rights of the abductees, detainees, and forcibly disappeared individuals. It also focuses on peace-building and raising human rights awareness in Yemen.
We strive to build peace and achieve freedom, justice, and fairness for victims of arbitrary abduction, enforced detention, and forced disappearance, both survivors and their families. We provide them with legal and psychological support, considering gender sensitivity.
