Shibam Social Association for Development (SSAD)
A non-profit civil society organization established under permit No. (171/2012), issued by the Office of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor – Valley and Desert Region / Seiyun. The association is headquartered in Shibam city, Hadhramaut Governorate. It operates within the geographical scope of Shibam District and the surrounding areas, aiming to contribute to improving the social, economic, and humanitarian conditions of the most vulnerable groups through the implementation of sustainable development projects and programs.
The association adopts a comprehensive development vision that seeks to uplift the local community by focusing on several key areas, including:
Education – Women’s Empowerment – Child Care – Food Security – Agriculture, Water, and Environment.
