Aden Foundation for Arts and Sciences was established in 2013 and continues to operate to this day in rehabilitative and community-based fields serving all segments of society, including youth, women, and children. The foundation seeks to promote community development and contribute to integrating individuals into development programs, encouraging self-reliance, with the aim of improving both society and individuals.
Main Objectives of the Foundation:
Empower women and youth economically, socially, and culturally.
Promote community development and sustainable local initiatives.
Build peace and enhance community participation.
Implementation of Integrated Programs and Projects in the Following Areas:
Protection and economic empowerment of women, including livelihood programs for survivors of gender-based violence, and psychosocial support, in partnership and with support from INTERSOS, CARE International, and Partners-Yemen.
Establishment of safe spaces for women and girls to provide comprehensive support.
Volunteer initiatives such as issuing birth certificates for underprivileged groups and providing school kits for out-of-school children.
Implementation of peacebuilding programs in partnership with CARE International, including training trainers on negotiation and conflict resolution, and carrying out community initiatives to promote peaceful coexistence.
Cultural and artistic programs that enhance creativity and community engagement.
Partnerships and Community Engagement:
Partnerships with international and local organizations: CARE International, Oxfam, the European Union, Goethe-Institut, Islamic Relief, IOM, Partners-Yemen, Child Protection Organization, Goethe-Institut and the European Union, Access Humanitarian, INTERSOS, and the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC).
